Customers can now host almost all of their Swift software and applications in the public cloud – from Alliance Access and Alliance Messaging Hub, right through to SWIFTNet Link, Alliance Gateway, and beyond.

How does SWIFT Alliance cloud work?

The footprint of SWIFT Alliance Cloud is based on a single tenant. To increase resiliency and availability, each customer deploys a second replicated configuration, in standby mode, in a different Azure region. For each customer, there's an instance of the SIL and Alliance Connect Virtual. The SIL subscription contains resources that you manage.

Does swift support AWS CloudFormation?

In May 2022, Swift launched a new Alliance Connect Virtual solution, which is available with an AWS CloudFormation template provided by SWIFT. The first version of Alliance Connect Virtual supports internet connectivity to the SWIFT network. An AWS Marketplace subscription is required for the software (only to accept Terms & Conditions).
